An early 20th Century 9 inch terrestrial globe by George Philip & Son Ltd., of 32 Fleet Street made for the London Geographical Institute retaining the original stand and varnish.

Globes are traditionally placed in studies and libraries for geographical reference. While some of the names and borders of countries have changed over the decades, the continents have not shifted and this stunning object would make a glorious eye-catcher for the home, and particularly for those interested in history and politics.
