Inscribed Seegoor and dated 1 July 1857

Seegoor sits at 3,300 feet above sea level in the Neilgherry Hills in South West India.

This drawing forms one of a number of studies of exotic plants recorded during a British expedition of India and Australasia in the mid-19th century.
