A fine late 18th century Louis XVI Period commode, having a marble top above two long drawers with gilt brass escutcheons and foliate ring handles and decorated throughout with panels of guilloches and ribbon banding in olivewood, tulipwood and walnut, the sides of the same, the front apron with applied scrolling mount, the whole raised on cabriole legs with brass mounts to the feet.
