A Rare 18th Century Olivewood Bureau

A rare mid-18th century olivewood parquetry bureau on stand, the fall front with central star burst upon a chequered ground with Greek key border, opening to reveal an intricately inlaid interior, fitted with pigeon holes, drawers and a central arched door, all above a single long drawer with brass handles and lock escutcheon. Set upon an olivewood stand terminating in carved cabriole legs with pad feet.
