A fine and rare pair of mid-eighteenth century burr walnut veneered Venetian commodes, each of serpentine from, the tops, sides, and three drawers with tulipwood crossbanding, with finely chased brass lock escutcheons and handles decorated with a cupid figure, above a shaped apron, terminating in cabriole legs.
