William & Mary Period Burr Walnut Bureau Bookcase

A fine late seventeenth century William & Mary Period burr walnut and feather banded double domed bureau bookcase, the upper part with doors housing bevelled mercury glass mirror plates and opening to reveal a removable fitted interior with pigeon holes and drawers, the middle section with writing slope with internal compartments and drawers, all above a base of two short and two long drawers with later brass handles and lock escutcheons, all terminating in later bracket feet.
