A pair of mid-twentieth century stools in the neo-classical manner, painted to simulate English porter marble, the seats with paterae carved end roundels, all raised on fluted square tapering legs.

These stools show direct influence by the work of the English architect Charles Heathcote Tatham (1772 – 1842)
