18th Century Louis XVI Period Mahogany Bureau Plat

A late eighteenth century Louis XVI Period mahogany and brass mounted bureau plat, the tooled black leather top above the standard configuration of long and short drawers, all with lock escutcheons and one fitted with a coin tray and compartment, the returns with retractable slides, all raised on fluted tapering legs. The rear side finished with blind drawers as to be free standing.
