An Empire Period finely figured mahogany centre table with Gris St Anne marble top.
This fine early nineteenth century mahogany centre table is typical of Empire Period furniture from about 1810. The only decoration is found in the flamed veneers and the veining of the grey marble top. It perfectly exemplifies the Neo-Classical predilection for simplicity and restraint in design.
