A pair of mid-20th century tray tables in the Regency Style, painted sealing wax red, the tops with faux specimen marble surface decoration and brass carrying handles and raised upon sabre legs with brass wash board mounts and linked by concave X-form brass stretchers.
This pair of tables was made in the middle of the 20th century, inspired by the decorative painted furniture of the Regency Period in England. Red is a striking colour and these would provide visually arresting points within a room setting, whether ancient or modern.
