A fine late eighteenth flame figured mahogany bureau plat, the overhanging top and side slides with tooled black leather writing surfaces and set above a configuration of one central short drawer flanked by two short drawers on either side, one opening to reveal a hidden compartment, the whole raised on square tapering legs and terminating in square brass caps with the original castors.
