A late eighteenth century Louis XVI Period mahogany bureau plate, the overhanging top with dark red tooled leather writing surface, above a configuration of long and short drawers, with leather covered side flaps, all raised on square tapering legs with brass sabots.

Each side flap extends by an additional 12 1/2 inches (31.75 cm)
