A fine mid-nineteenth century Victorian Period walnut occasional table, the circular top with inverted scalloped apron set upon a turned stem, the base comprising a central roundel raised on three turned feet each surmounted with a finial.

This table was made in the middle of the nineteenth century and is a good example of mid-Victorian Period furniture. Pieces made in the mid-1800s still display a restraint of form. Here the form is merely embellished by turnings as this piece is entirely designed around the circle.
