A pair of twentieth century Samson bottle vases, each decorated with stylised flowers and foliage in the Ottoman Turkish Iznik taste. Now mounted as a pair of table lamps.

Dimensions exclude modern bulb fittings.

Wired to UK Standards. These lamps can be rewired to all international specifications.

The Samson factory was founded in the nineteenth century by Edmé Samson (1810, Paris – 1891, Paris). The firm of Samson, Edmé et Cie produced -excellent copies of earlier styles of ceramics, predominantly eighteenth century European, Chinese, and Japanese porcelain, but also earlier styles such as Italian maiolica and Iznik pottery.
