A late nineteenth century plaster bust depicting Venus de Capua.

The marble statue of Venus de Capua was made during the empire of Hadrian (117 to 138 AD). This plaster bust is most probably a museum copy, made for collectors and scholars of antiquity in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
