André Beronneau was a French painter active during the first half of the twentieth century. He is best known for his French landscapes depicting southern Brittany and Provence. He exhibited his works at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris between 1926 and 1935.
The Pont Saint-Michel links the Place Saint-Michel on the left bank of the River Seine to the Île de la Cité. It takes its name from the Chapel de Saint-Michel. It is also close to Sainte Chapelle and the Palais de Justice. The present 203 foot-long bridge dates to 1857.
