LEON CHARLES HUBER

Leon Charles Huber was born on 11 January 1858 in Paris. He went on to become a painter of still life, animals and cats.
He was a student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Dawant and of Jules Grun.
As his career progressed he became known for his superbly observed paintings of cats. Whilst these remain popular it is his still life paintings that are regarded as his more natural work.
In 1903 he received a mention.

Huber died on 25 August 1928 in Paris.
