Height 28 inches (71.12 cm)

A fine set of three late 18th century steel fire irons comprising a shovel, tongs and poker, the handles each with a faceted ball finial. The perfect antique fireplace accessory or companion set.

This set of fire irons has been fashioned from steel and polished to a brilliant finish. The facetted handles, turned stems and elaborately pierced shovel are all in the Neo-Classical taste. The quality and workmanship are of such high quality that this set must have adorned a very grand fireplace with equally impressive chimney grate and mantlepiece.
