A large and impressive pair of mid-nineteenth century decalcomania glass vases, adorned with polychrome chinoiseries upon blue grounds. Now mounted as table lamps with gilt caps and bases.

This pair of vases represents the apogee of decalcomania work. The scale, detail and variety of decoration combined with the extraordinary colour palette makes them a remarkable discovery.
