The Many Faces of Osiris – Jessica Taylor

Jessica Taylor: ‘Osiris is a God of transitions in the ancient Egyptian pantheon. In this painting he appears in different roles and at different stages on a journey to the underworld. I wanted the sense of a strong edge between two contrasting areas, and negotiating this edge in the painting turned out to be quite tricky.’
