A fine early nineteenth century Regency Period giltwood convex mirror, the circular frame of rope twists, beading and palmettes with reeded ebonised slip, surmounted with an eagle between two dragons, the lower section comprising a carved lion’s head set within a square tablet, between supporting acanthus scrolls and downward finial.
