SOLD

An early 19th century small scale Regency faux painted rosewood Bergere, the rounded back and seat with caning, raised upon turned legs with palmette decoration and terminating in brass castors. Together with a leather covered cushion seat.

This faux rosewood Bergere armchair was made at the end of the Regency Period. Designed most probably for a library or a club room, its angled back makes it the ideal reading or bedroom chair.
