An early nineteenth century Empire Period mahogany etagère, of segmental form, the top with ebonised frieze of seven ormolu stars set upon two carved and gilded leopard heads, the square block legs supporting four shelves, all terminating in carved ebonised paw feet.

In the manner of the Paris ébéniste Bernard Molitor (1755 – 1833)
