A 20th Century Pair of Brass Chinoiserie Wall Lanterns

£2,900

SOLD

A pair of 20th Century brass hall lanterns, in the chinoiserie taste, each having a pagoda roof with dangling bells above a glazed body and a shaped mirror back.

These lanterns were inspired by the chinoiserie furniture at Brighton Pavilion in Sussex, the extraordinary Royal Residence of The Prince Regent – later King George IV (1820-1830).

Wired for electric lighting.
