The detailed study of plant forms, a thorough understanding of modern living spaces, and the masterful execution of the finest in ceramics design form the basis for this collection.

The forms of the vessels together with the clay of their construction have been carefully chosen to complement the plants they contain; the result is at once a botanical installation and a unique living art work.

Mirka graduated from the iconic Harrow ceramics course. Later the same year she set up her first studio with a colleague. Following her successful completion of MA studies at Bath Spa University with first class honours she accepted artistic residency at Salisbury Arts Centre, where to date she creates her work and runs a busy ceramic studio. Mirka is an award winning artist and a published researcher. Her work is in numerous private collections worldwide.

Bold, naturalistic planting, ready to buy in generously sized hand-built clay pots. Assembled sets of plants, chosen for their complementary texture and structure create an instant look and sumptuous year round presence. An unusual centrepiece, perfect for a coffee table. The plants are very easy to grow and long-lived, giving years of pleasure. The finest British ceramics, designed around the plant form. We can’t wait for you to see this new range of handmade garden pots by Rupert Muldoon here in the gallery where we expect them to fly off the shelves!
