Late George III Painted and Parcel-Gilt Overmantel

The divided, mercury-silvered plates contained within a framework of gilt-wood, fluted pilasters behind doric columns surmounted with painted and parcel-gilt patera and supporting a frieze of painted and parcel-gilt acanthus leaves below a pediment of gilt-wood balls.
