A late 18th century George III period French Hepplewhite armchair, having an overstuffed oval back and seat, the mahogany arms of scrolling form, all standing on finely carved cabriole legs.

Although originally intended for use in a grand salon, this piece would also work well as a desk chair in a modern day home.
